This reminds me of my uncle…I was only 8 years old.. he was just divorced and he started drinking and lot of alcohol, he met another girl and got along well but the alcohol he drank got to him bad and had to go to the hospital to get his stomach pumped, I remember the last I saw of him, I came downstairs from my room to see if he was here and he was asleep on the couch in my living room and I asked my mom if he was ok and she said yes, later we hung out with him as much as we could and before he left I hugged him one last time and I said to him “please don’t die…” and he told me “don’t worry deets, I won’t die! I’ll be back!”…I waited and waited until one day I could hear my dad and mom crying and I asked her what was wrong and she told me he died…I remember crying and screaming no while hitting my head on my wall…at his funeral I couldn’t stop crying.. I cried and isolated myself from everyone.. I still can’t accept that he’s gone and this is why i say he never came back…
